TOURISM IN ELCHE - ART ZONE IN ELCHE

The Art Zone in Elche situated in the Passeig de l'Estació, is an initiative that has arisen from a collaboration between Elche city council and the municipal company PIMESA, with the purpose of gathering samples of different aesthetic tendencies within the contemporary sculpture field.

The Art Zone has a precedent dating back to the creation of the Elche Contemporary Art Museum in 1980, when the creation of an outdoor sculpture museum was projected and for which the works of Pablo Serrano, now part of the Elche Art Zone, were acquired in 1984.
